VMware Workstation Player 12.5 - Part 1
If you need to run Windows XP, Windows 7, Ubuntu Desktop or any other operating system simultaneously on your PC, or for testing purpose of any particular application before taking it live in your production environment, then you can download the free VMware Workstation Player and install it.
Below are simple steps to get you up and running. I will install the VMware player and Windows XP.
1. Google "VMware Workstation Player" and follow the official VMware link or download it directly by going to the below site:
https://www.vmware.com/products/player/playerpro-evaluation.html
2. Once download it complete, double click on the setup and go through the basic installation, screenshots below:
